We’re seeking an experienced and energetic bar professional to join our team at Dundee’s on the Waterfront. This role offers around 30 hours per week across five days, combining three nights behind the bar with drinks-running and lunch split shifts.

What We’re Looking For

• Solid cocktail knowledge and previous bar experience

• Confident carrying drinks trays and pouring drinks at tables

• Strong customer interaction and sales skills

• Clean, tidy, efficient, and a great team player

• Available for split shifts and bar closes (finishing 10.30–11.00 pm)

• Able to stay with us for a minimum of 8 months

• Hold a current RSA certificate valid in Queensland

Wait Staff

We’re looking for experienced, customer-focused waitstaff to join our team at Dundee’s on the Waterfront – one of Cairns’ most iconic waterfront restaurants.

This role offers 25–35 hours per week, including weekends and split shifts, with opportunities for extra hours based on performance.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous restaurant or à la carte experience (essential)

• Confident in taking orders, running food and drinks, and handling busy sections

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Neat, professional presentation and positive attitude

• Reliable, punctual, and eager to learn

• Available for split shifts and weekends

• Able to stay for a minimum of 8 months
• Hold a current RSA certificate valid in Queensland

Front of House Supervisor

FULL TIME

We’re looking for an experienced Front of House Supervisor to join our leadership team and help maintain our high standards of service, teamwork, and guest care. This is a full-time role (38 hours per week) with a strong focus on evening service.

What We’re Looking For

A confident, hands-on leader with strong communication and teamwork skills

• Previous experience in a supervisory or senior waiter role

• Calm, organised, and solution-focused in a fast-paced environment

• Professional, reliable, and passionate about hospitality

• Current RSA valid in Queensland (essential)

About This Role

• Evening-based position, finishing around 11.30pm

• Must be available for weekends and public holidays

• Supervising and supporting a large, busy front-of-house team during service

• Coordinating effectively between front and back of house

• Upholding exceptional guest service and attention to detail

• Assisting with training, floor management, and closing procedures
