We’re looking for an experienced Pass Controller to join our team and help maintain the smooth coordination between kitchen and front of house during busy service periods. This is a casual role with a strong focus on evening shifts in a fast-paced waterfront restaurant environment.

About This Role

• Evening-based position – Sunday to Thursday

Junior Administration Officer

FULL TIME or PART TIME

We’re looking for a motivated and professional Junior Administration Officer to join our team and provide dedicated support directly to the Director of Dundee’s on the Waterfront. This is a wonderful entry-level opportunity for someone looking to build a rewarding career in hospitality administration and being mentored by the Director of Dundee’s on the Waterfront.

• Excellent written and verbal English with strong grammar skills
• Professional and confident telephone manner
• Sound time management and ability to prioritise effectively

About This Role

Reporting directly to and working alongside the Director, you will be a key point of contact for guests, tour operators, and business partners. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include

• Answering telephone enquiries and managing all booking requests professionally

• Managing reservations via the Now Book It system with accuracy and care

• Coordinating private dining events and group bookings from tour companies

• Responding to all email correspondence with impeccable professionalism

• Providing direct administrative support to the Director across a range of business functions

•  Maintaining organised records for reservations, events, and communications

• Prioritising tasks effectively to support smooth daily operation

This role offers 25–35 hours per week, including weekends and split shifts, with opportunities for extra hours based on performance.

• Previous restaurant or à la carte experience (essential)

• Confident in taking orders, running food and drinks, and handling busy sections

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Neat, professional presentation and positive attitude

• Reliable, punctual, and eager to learn

• Available for split shifts and weekends

• Able to stay for a minimum of 8 months
• Hold a current RSA certificate valid in Queensland

We’re seeking an experienced and energetic bar professional to join our team at Dundee’s on the Waterfront. This role offers around 30 hours per week across five days, combining three nights behind the bar with drinks-running and lunch split shifts.

What We’re Looking For

• Solid cocktail knowledge and previous bar experience

• Confident carrying drinks trays and pouring drinks at tables

• Strong customer interaction and sales skills

• Clean, tidy, efficient, and a great team player

• Available for split shifts and bar closes (finishing 10.30–11.00 pm)

• Able to stay with us for a minimum of 8 months

• Hold a current RSA certificate valid in Queensland
